About The Project

The 1600 square foot facility was constructed at the East Gate of the White House. In order to build this facility, sheeting and shoring was installed to protect an oak tree that was plated by Andrew Jackson. All tourists pass through security in this building prior to entering the White House. The building features architectural precast, granite and marble. Despite restrictive security and extremely tight working conditions, the project was completed in six months.
