Project Updates

Scheibel Construction has broken ground on the new athletic complex for St. Mary’s Ryken in Leonardtown, MD. Scheibel Construction is serving as the Construction Manager for St. Mary’s Ryken for their new athletic complex.  Scheibel worked closely with the project architect, Hord Coplan Macht, to perform all pre-construction services.  The new 49,000 square foot building is a three-story athletic facility structure that will be constructed adjacent to the existing football field on the campus of this private school in Leonardtown, Maryland.  The building consists of locker rooms, exercise rooms, training rooms, a wrestling room, a full court gymnasium with telescoping stands, along with administrative and support spaces.  The site work consists of clearing, grading, retaining walls, new utilities, hardscapes, and storm water management.  The contract for this project is over $13 million and has an anticipated completion schedule of late December 2018.  Scheibel Construction was selected as the Construction Manager and was involved since the concept phase.
