About The Project

The 290,000 sq ft building is situated on a 100-acre wooded site in Aldie, Virginia. The state-of-the-art educational facility features artificial turf athletic fields, gymnasium, auxiliary gym, theater, cafeteria, and several laboratories. John Champe High School has quite a few environmental attractions including solar panels, high efficiency lighting, and environmentally friendly HVAC systems.

The project was built to the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold standards. Scheibel Construction delivered this project on time, with an aggressive schedule of 18 months, and within budget.
