About the Project
The T.C. Martin Elementary School Additions and Renovations Project consisted of a complete renovation of the existing building, a 20,000 SF classroom addition, 5,150 SF gymnasium addition, a maintenance building, and a pump house building. The renovation of the existing building consisted of supporting the existing structure on shoring, demolishing the existing walls, and building new CMU walls in their place. In addition to the extensive structural renovation of the building, the entire plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems were replaced. A new domestic water well was drilled and a geothermal system, consisting of 250 geothermal wells, was installed.
