Scheibel has officially broken ground on the La Plata High School Modernization & Addition project. The proposed upgrades and addition will expand educational space and provide modern, state-of-the-art learning environments for students in Charles County.
The project includes extensive renovations to the original 1979 school building, along with the construction of a new two-story addition on the southeast side of the campus. Construction will be completed in phases while the school remains occupied, ensuring students and staff can continue using the facility throughout construction. The project is scheduled for completion at the end of 2030.
