The project consisted of the renovation, reprogramming and expansion of the classrooms and support spaces to the existing Dr. Samuel A. Mudd Elementary School building which achieved LEED Gold Rating. Modifications to the existing building and site were included in the scope of work to accommodate the new construction. Site improvements included a new geothermal ground water source HVAC system to support the school. The project also included replacement of the windows and asbestos containing materials abatement.
